ID scanning

ID Scanning Software for Venues & Secure Facilities

Scan IDs at the door in seconds, catch underage and banned visitors automatically, and keep a searchable cloud record of every entry.

What is ID scanning?

ID scanning reads the machine-readable data on government IDs — usually the PDF417 barcode on US driver's licenses or the MRZ on passports — and turns it into structured fields (name, date of birth, document number, expiration). Good ID scanning software does not stop at parsing: it verifies age, flags expired documents, checks ban lists, captures a visitor photo, and stores everything for compliance and security.

IDEnforcer is built for high-traffic doors: bars, nightclubs, stadium gates, warehouse docks, hotels, and data centers. Staff get a clear pass/fail result; managers get analytics, exports, and multi-site list sharing from any browser.

How IDEnforcer ID scanning works

Who uses ID scanning software?

Nightlife and hospitality teams use ID scanning to protect liquor licenses and reduce liability. Retail and convenience stores use it for Tobacco 21 and alcohol age proof. Events and logistics sites use it for visitor logs, badge printing, and audit-ready exports. If you need to know who entered — and prove you checked — ID scanning is the standard.
