With fraud detection enabled, every scanned ID is automatically checked for signs of tampering or forgery. Five different checks run behind the scenes and produce a single pass/fail score.
Real IDs have hidden security features that only show up under ultraviolet light. If those features are missing or wrong, the ID gets flagged.
